Latest news from the Willington fishery

Fishing at the Willington Lake Trout Fishery was fantastic during the Easter break! Warm and mainly dry conditions saw the trout rising on mass to the huge hatches of buzzer.

Although we have had a couple of wet days since, the fishing is good and given drier weather towards the weekend sport could well be fantastic.

I have enjoyed good sport with both browns and rainbows as have clients, the best fish an immaculate brown trout of 3.5lbs. This venue is in the sort of form now that you really don't want to miss, providing the ultimate immitative fishing.
