Mid Autumn 2008
The good news is whether we are chasing grayling on the river or rainbows on the lake fishing is good. In fact it is very good!
On the Coln grayling are coming to various nymphing techniques which is helpful when teaching people a variety of tricks (always helps when you see something actually work in practice, does wonders for your confidence). At Loynton plenty of rainbows in top conditions are hitting both nymph and lures, with fish well into double figures banked. Watermark is exhibiting great clarity and with plenty of margin cruisers offers truely exciting fishing. Plenty of fish 2-4lbs being landed with a few larger fish to 8lbs. Top flies lures, nymphs and stalking bugs.
Tight Lines
