Back Online
It's been some time since my last post mainly due to balancing client bookings, work on the new site and some jobs at home to keep the wife happy! The new site is up, jobs are done and fishing is good, so lets crack on.
The river Coln has a serious flow, however working to locate pods of grayling with weighted bugs is still producing fish. Nothing big, beautiful, fit, bright fish up to 1lb currently.
Stillwater fishing has been great with some larger fish now showing and rainbows providing a cracking scrap in the cold water. It's that classic time when one moment trout are sipping buzzers, the next slashing into fry. Every reason to keep you eyes pealed for activity. Don't just assume chucking a cats whisker is the be all of lure fishing. If you want to tempt resident fish, observing colouration and behaviour of key bait fish species available and matching the hatch so to speak will greatly improve your chances.
