Book lessons in fly fishing for beginners or experienced anglers on a 1-to-1 or group basis, with half day, full day and short break options available.
Our team of full time professional instructors are available 7 days per week, all year, with lessons geared to both stillwater and river fly fishing. All equipment required is provided at no extra charge.

Beginners Fly Fishing Lessons
The aim of our beginners fly fishing lessons are simple, help you learn to fly fish! Personal tuition in an ideal environment means you actively learn new skills on the water, enabling you to go fishing confidently and catch trout on fly. Your itinerary includes: -
- Equipment, setting up & fly selection
- Basic overhead cast & roll cast techniques
- Watercraft & safety
- Effective fishing techniques to get you started.
Price is £150 per day or £100 half day for 1 angler. Fees for additional people are full day £75 per person, half day £50 per person to a maximum of 4. Larger groups also accommodated.

Fly Casting Instruction
Good fly casting skills are a key aspect in presenting your fly well, helping you fish efficiently, effectively and enjoyably. Casting lessons are are perfect for developing or brushing up your casting skills. Lessons cover techniques for trout, salmon, pike, carp & saltwater as required, including: -
- Basic overhead fly cast
- Handling strong winds & big flies
- Single and double haul techniques
- Roll casting techniques
- Advanced presentation casts for river & lake
- Casting a double handed rod & spey casting skills (Cotswolds only)
Price per hour £30 for 1 person, an additional £10 per hour is payable per extra person.
Fly Fishing Lessons for Rivers or Stillwaters
A superb range of lake and river lessons available to further develop your fly fishing skills and boost catches. Perfect as follow on lessons from our beginners lessons and courses!
Stillwaters
Fly fishing lessons for small and large waters from boat and bank are available. We review your equipment, casting skills and introduce new casts as required. We show you how to boost your catches through watercraft, entomology, imitative & attractor techniques with dry fly, nymph and lure. Lessons are tailored to your own needs, simply call us to discuss your lesson today.
Prices are £150 full day or £100 half day for 1 angler. Fees for additional people are full day £75 per person, half day £50 per person.
Rivers
Often thought more demanding, river fly fishing requires a different skill set to stillwaters. Lessons cover key areas of your setup, fly casting skills for rivers, the importance of presentation and getting it right, watercraft to locate trout in river lies, entomology to identify what trout are feeding on and when, the latest dry/wet fly and nymphing techniques to help you fish better, catch more and enjoy river fly fishing.
Prices are £200 full day for 1 angler. Fees for additional people are £100 per person.
